Sitting on the deck, watching the sun set, Nerina sighed. She tried to comprehend her feelings for the Captain, realizing that she was being reckless and letting the pleasure she felt take over.
Was she in love with him?
But why would she be in love with him? He has never really done anything but tease her.
But then again, maybe that was just it. Maybe she found his teasing to be more than just teasing.
Maybe she found it to be flirting.
And the flirting worked.
Her mind suddenly trailed off to the thought of her parents. She was starting to miss them, and her brother, deeply.
She never imagined she would though.
She then wondered what they would say if they found out about her relationship to a Pirate…
They would go mad.
