Chloe was sleeping, and Alex joined Jacob back in the lounge room. He had a bottle of wine chilling and glasses on the table. Alex had the best day hanging out with Jacob and Chloe at the park. Jacob seemed to be taking on this ‘stepdad’ role with great enthusiasm.
