"Oh God..." Brad sighed, and I flashed him a smile.
"Yeah, it's true," I confirmed as Brad and I wrapped up our discussion about the book in the school library. I glanced at him and his thick-rimmed glasses, unable to shake off a nagging feeling. Something about that person in the photo seemed quite familiar, but I couldn't quite place it.
"So, Brad, you haven't really opened up about yourself much," I initiated the conversation.
His smile faltered slightly as he leaned forward on the table. "You're interested in knowing about me?" he questioned.
I shrugged casually. "Well, now that we're friends, it seems fitting to get to know each other better, don't you think?" I suggested.
Brad leveled a sharp gaze at me. "Will your boyfriend allow it?" he countered.
