I wasn’t talking about the kind of fear that made you afraid of the dark, or the kind that made your heart race when you thought you saw something move in your peripheral vision.
I meant real fear.
The kind of fear that gripped you so tightly, you felt it in your bones. The kind of fear that kept you awake at night, staring at the ceiling, questioning if you were truly alone.
That was the kind of fear that had me paralyzed right now.
