I was losing track of time and days. Also, I had this painful pressure in my chest that would not go away. I knew it was the mate bond crying out for my eternal mate. I could feel her pain from being away from me and how her strength was weakening. I felt a small amount of pressure released for a brief moment before it quickly returned. Something must have eased her for a bit. Since Karen was nowhere to be seen when I woke up and spent the next few days searching the surrounding areas, I assumed she must be with Lisa. If Damian were smart, he would have Karen to help care for Lisa. But then again, Damian was a very arrogant, selfish person.
I have been roaming the Florida Keys, hoping to catch Lisa's scent. Anything that would help me find her. I came up empty-handed.
