My thirst had become unbearable as no amount of blood I drank could quench the burning thirst. The urge to slaughter everything was getting stronger. My mind was slowly turning red, as we call it. The demonic part of our souls takes over and will destroy everything and anything in its path until it gets what it wants. My demon wanted Lisa's blood. My soul wanted her's and everything in my being wanted her to be next to me. It was getting harder to control that part of me. Even Ambrose was slowly taking over my mind and body. Thomas had to help corral me, well Ambrose, during the day. We had gathered a few stragglers along our way—each a member of my royal court or what used to be my royal court.
According to them, my family's castle, our kingdom, was nothing but rubble
