Emerald's POV
The next day, I literally read my Chemistry textbook on my way to school. I'm not even joking.
As I passed through the forest, I had my book in my hand.
I read the textbook as I walked through the pathway of trees. I'm lucky that I haven't run into a tree yet.
The tea party finished around after 11pm last night. That's not all. A few of Sarah's friends stayed behind for some gossip. I had to attend to their every need because it was past Patricia's closing time which meant I had to do everything after she left.
Sarah's friends ended up sleeping over and due to how tired I was from making sure they were all comfortable, I couldn't cover much on Chemistry. I only had enough strength to do some of my assignments.
