Epilogue: Knockout
April 15. Tax day. More like moving day for Colm, which I helped him with. Since my apartment measured bigger, we spent all morning dragging his s**t out his apartment and into mine. Chad and his boyfriend, the one with four toes on his right foot, helped. The day ended up being crisp, clear, and it felt like summertime, although it wouldn’t be for at least two more months. Colm had the idea to move in since he spent most of his time with me. I didn’t object, coming to terms that we were in a long-haul relationship.
Often, we told each other that we had fallen in love, and those comments felt real, which we discussed in detail. We were hooked on each other, attracted to bulging muscles, chests, mussed hair first thing in the morning, and plump erections.
