Chapter 4
The sunlight was our alarm clock. It found us cuddled together beneath its glory.
“Hey babe, how are you?” he asked as I squinted against the bright light.
“Is there a word that means something better than fantastic?”
I rolled over to face him and we kissed.
“Let’s spend the day at the beach,” I said.
“Whatever you want,” he said kissing me, although neither of us was in any hurry.
The day was glorious. There was a soft breeze blowing and after a swim we were joined for lunch by some of the other men from the village. We roasted fresh fish on a spit and ate them with coconut and fruit, all washed down with coconut milk. Afterwards, Andy and I explored some of the rock pools and went for a swim over the reefs to look at some of the amazingly coloured fish there. In between
