Lucifer's POV
"Luna Odell?" My voice shook unwillingly.
Her head snapped up to me, eyes widen. "What are you doing here Lucifer." She questioned, her voice cold as ice.
"I'm here for Zane." I stated firmly, this woman in front of me is not the Luna I've known.
She chuckled, a loud, dark, piercing chuckle.
The bloody, with tubes all around him guy who I assume is Zane shivered beside her.
"Why?" I asked more to myself than her.
"Why Lucifer?" She retorted back, "Alpha Maxwell isn't my mate in the first place, and I'm f*****g sick of pretending that every single day of my life, living far away from my true mate."
