James's POV
I sat at a burger place, with my wife sitting beside me in the boot. Since we arrived about 12 minutes ago she hadn't touched her burger, but she sipped her water instead. I couldn't take this any longer. Ever since Lauren had decided to make a scene at my office building, her mood had been rather downhill from there on wards.
"What's wrong sweetheart? “
I calmly asked her.
"I don't know what you're talking about? “
She denied knowing what I was talking about and then went back to sipping her water.
"Rose, I know that you're lying to me and I would really like to know why you haven't touched your food, smiled at me or even spoken to me".
She looked deep into my eyes and placed her water back onto the table.
