“This… this can’t be, William…. Are you joking with me? If yes…. Let me remind you that it will be a consequence for you,” Prince Adam scolded me in a very loud tone. I was glad that the call was on the speaker, or else my eardrums would have burst by now.
“He is right, Adam…. This is indeed the case." Avery answered him in a serious tone this time instead of me. There was silence on the other side for a good few seconds. Avery sniffed again and looked out of the window. It was already 10 in the morning and yet we didn’t have any way to save her tonight. I couldn’t do anything but feel pain in my chest.
