It has been a few days since that last conversation between them. The tension at the house was at its highest. None of them was talking to the other and Alexander seems to be ignoring her. He wasn’t staying all day in the living room liken he used to. In fact, most of his time was spent in her office. She could hear him typing on his keyboard whenever she passed by there. It took her by surprise that he didn’t address her in the conversation for that long. It occurred to her that he probably took her words to heart. She was thankful that he wasn’t pestering her anymore but couldn’t shake the casual sting in her heart. He often got out of the office to get something from either his room or the kitchen.
