"We found her," Rage said from next to me. I had been so deep in thought that I didn't realize he was near, something I hoped I hid well.
"Great! Where is she?" I said eagerly.
"She is with Rachel, she is following her to make sure she is safe."
"Why? You should have dragged her back here!" I said angrily, but no one could match Rage on an anger contest, something I was quickly reminded of.
"I'm not in the business of abusing women," he said, the temperature dropping a few degrees in the face of his anger. "She would have fought both of us, she even said she would rather die than be tied to you. I don't know just how bad you mistreated her for her reaction to be so strong, but I won't be complicit."
