JENIFER’S POV
“Unbelievable. Since when did you become such a good actress? I swear I bought that act. I really thought he was your boyfriend,” Ben stated with a slight chuckle.
“Well, I had to give you some sort of stay away signal,” I laughed while taking a sip of my smoothie. We had left work early enough to hit the Diner just because of the smoothies.
“It worked on me. Now, even though I can’t believe I’m saying this, but you and that guy would have made a great couple. Too bad you only kissed him to get me off your back,”
