The whole castle was suddenly buzzing with energy and happiness. The king was finally getting married, and I was marrying him. For almost three days, I didn’t get to see much of him. My wedding dress was being prepared, servants wanted my opinion on the food, cake, flowers, table arrangements, and on and on the list went.
I was surprised the king didn’t participate in this, but suddenly, he was being pulled away by all the lords. I knew what they were asking him, or more like demanding of him, which was to reconsider his choice.
