She tasted of a sweet wine. It was something I could get addicted to. I had to admit, it had been a long time since a kiss made me so hungry for more. It took me a little by surprise, but what happened after surprised me more.
Valindra bit down hard on my lower lip, and I had to move back, only to discover she had drawn blood. I lifted my fingers to my lip, seeing the red color. Yet I quickly licked it off my fingers, making sure to hold her eyes as I did, before running my tongue over the small wound on my lip.
She looked at me a bit shocked, and I reached out, running my thumb over her lower lip, wiping off my blood that still lingered there. She quickly tried to move even further back as I touched her, but there wasn’t much room to move in.
