EPILOGUE
It was almost pitch dark in the expansive warehouse and all was quiet. Just a hint of light from outside filtered in through the high windows and the dim track light from above his head helped Ethan see where he was going. The large figure he was looking for stepped out from the room to the right and Ethan smiled as he quickened his pace. “Day!” he called out.
As Ethan reached his mate, he grabbed Day’s arm. “We’re running out of time,” Ethan said in a panic as he pulled on Day’s arm, spinning him around. The large scar running down Day’s face looked ominous in the shadows.
