It’s been two years since Ethan and I got married, but a little over a year ago we discovered after two pregnancies that I may never be able to carry to full term.
With my first pregnancy I ended up having a miscarriage due to stomach pains and with the second one we realized I had an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is basically a pregnancy that happens outside of the womb, and for me it took place on my ovaries. The doctor said my right fallopian tube is damaged and therefore the egg that was released ended up being fertilized outside of my womb. It wasn’t until all the checkups and exams that I realized the womb, fallopian tubes and ovaries weren’t directly connected.
