-River POV-
Everything happens so fast but at the same time, I see it in slow motion.
As Valeriu stands in front of Marco, Peggy tackles Valeriu again but this time, Valeriu is ready. He holds her by the neck and dips his fangs into her neck. She screams.
Marco tries to get up but he falls back down. "No!" He says weakly.
He looks in horror as Valeriu throws Peggy to the side like a ragdoll.
Valeriu sets his eyes on me knowing that Marco can’t fight.
I want to run to Peggy to see if she is okay but I can't. I turn on my heels and run. I go through a hallway and then turn on another, then up some stairs and keep running. I glimpse back but can’t see him anywhere. I continue running but I can smell him. I might not be able to see him but I know he is still after me.
