After opening my eyes to the sound of a large boom and gunshots, I quickly got up wondering what was going on. Panicked screams also filled the air. It sounded like madness and chaos were happening outside.
I stared at Mandy and luckily, she was still sleeping soundly through all of this happening.
I wisely decided to wait for the sound of gunshots, pained howls, and screams to stop. After minutes which felt like hours, it finally did.
