Maximus soon gave me back control once Hazel and Maeve were off of my back. I got off of my belly and looked to see Ace standing there with a pair of basketball shorts so I nodded my head to him. He quickly walked over and dropped the shorts in front of my mouth while I shifted back. I quickly put the shorts on. I needed a shower as I had blood on me.
“Thank you for bringing them back to us safely.” Someone tells me so I look over to see Hazel clinging onto a woman that looked to be her mom. “I am Opal. Hazel and Maeve’s mother and this is Mark, their father.” Opal says as she gestures over to a man that is holding onto Maeve.
I nod. “It was no problem. I would do it again without thought.”
Opal gave me a smile before turning around walking off with Hazel while Mark
