I woke to the cold breeze of the night. opening my eyes the night sky was revealed.
‘Why am I outside?’ I thought. I sat up looking around me. I was in a field surrounded by woods. There was a house sitting in the middle. It looked so familiar to me. I walked closer almost unconsciously. The lights in the cabin were on, allowing me to look through the windows. I wasn’t sure why I thought it would be okay to peep inside, but it felt like I had to.
A family sat on a couch, the two parents lay on either side of a sleeping child. I looked away, this was too creepy of me. I shouldn’t be watching. My legs made me wander to the door, knocking before I understood as to why. There wasn’t a reply.
