Dad tried his best to lay into Paul last night, but everytime his voice started to get loud, or he got in Paul’s face, Eva would lay into him. It was almost comical, watching my goliath of a mate hide behind a tiny toddler, and my terrifying dad submitting to that same toddler. I sat beside Carlos and munched on popcorn while the three of them had a battle of wills.
The obvious winner was, of course, Eva. She celebrated her victory by ordering her dad and papa into getting makeovers before bed. Once the fighting was done, Paul’s parents left to head home. Sarah was demanding Carlos go home to take her and her friends to the movies. We would see them all in the morning when we saw Paul, Corey and their entourage off.
