“Are you sure she wasn’t just using a half truth to manipulate you to get her way?” I asked hesitantly.
I know it’s not right to question a victim, but I remember the way Lisa treated Sydney. She didn’t act like a victim. She was mean to him, always acting superior and putting him down. It was odd she would treat him that way if he really did what she claimed.
Accusing her of lying is wrong, and Sydney doesn’t have the best track record, but the timing of her revelation is too concerning for me to ignore.
