Chapter 48: A Late Evening Visit

Toby isn’t drunk, but he has had a few whiskey shots, downing them like a cowboy from Stockton County, Oklahoma. The drinking is a celebration of writing his first blog, and completing it, about Jim Bone. Perhaps he has had one too many shots because he doesn’t hear the front doorbell ring, both the first time, and the second time. Rather, he hears it the third time, and his name being called out from the front porch.
