“This is exhilarating, isn’t it?!” Theo yelled at me as sat in the back of a pick-up truck. He paid someone to smuggle us out of Bella Terra. That was how he explained it to me. If we used our rides, our parents would definitely be able to track us.
It was Thursday night.
Theo and I snuck out of the palace in the dead of the night. We shifted into our wolves and with the clothes and wallet in our mouth, we ran to the meeting place with the “smuggler”. I shook my head at what Theo called the driver. He’s a short skinny man, most like only a few years older than us.
