It's five in the morning and I haven't been able to sleep one bit since I got home from that mate festival. I got home at twelve at night and I've tossed and turned thinking of what Hunter and I did in the forest.
After it, he acted normal the whole time but I couldn't look at him at all. I was thankful that when he dropped me off, Ethan was with us in the car. I said bye to both of them as I do normally and rushed inside.
"Meow."
"Yea Nala, I'm not feeling so good."
I'm getting a headache and my eyes hurt. I think I might be getting a fever. Maybe it's all the stress combined with not being able to sleep properly.
I sigh.
I get up and head downstairs to get the thermometer. After a few minutes, it's confirmed, I have a fever.
"Darn it. I guess I'm staying home today."
