After practice today Kevin and I were on our way to my car to go home when Jaime came up to us.
“Hey, can I get a ride with you guys back to the house?” She asks.
“Why are you still here? School ended a while ago.” Kevin asks her.
“I, um, well, I waited for you ok. I sat in the bleachers and watched you guys practice.” Jaime says.
“Are you secretly a goal bunny?” I laugh. A goal bunny is a nickname we give the girls who hang around watching us practice and go to all our games and parties.
“No! Like I would be one of those tramps! No, I wanted to talk to you guys. Keira texted me a few times today. She had a nice day with your mom and Jay. And I don’t want you two morons ruining her mood.” Jaime said.
“Fair enough, get into the car,” I tell her.
