MAX POV.
My ribs throbbed as I laid down on my back on the dingy little bed in the cell. One of their doctors have already been in to see me and found that I have a few cracked ribs and a broken nose and bruising, so he just wrapped up my torso and realigned my nose before leaving. I guess they don’t give great healthcare to those who kidnap one of their own pack members.
I knew I got off lightly because of Lycandra’s mother. It could have been a lot worse if she hadn’t stopped her husband. I could see why my father was so obsessed about her mother. She was beautiful and Lycandra definitely took after her mother. I snorted to myself. How ironic. My farther took her prisoner all those years ago and now I am her prisoner.
