Jace’s POV
“Amber did you finish the files I left for you on the desk?” I ask her
“Yes. Everything is done.” she says back to me
“Thank you.” I say to her as she goes to order lunch
Lately Amber has been assisting me with a lot of errands for the company. I have been so consumed with Kana’s whereabouts that I just can't concentrate. As I try to fake that things are okay they are really not.
“Jace food is ordered as well. I also switched up a few meetings for you so you can have about 2 hours of a break to relax. As for the guards they have found Kana and are following her now. And since you were busy, I ordered a few safety kits and more blood supply for the coven and outside covens that surround us.” she says to me
