"Mhmm." Trying to open my eyes but they shut again from the pain in my head feeling so drained it felt as if I had a set of bongo playing in my head it was pounding so bad.
Peeling my eye open slower this time blinking and squinting I let my eyes adjust to the light everything was a little blurry at first but it slowly began to clear.
Trying not to turn my head too much I was able to notice I was in a hospital room. No one was in there I could see the small chair next to the bedside some papers on the end table then on the far wall was a couch with blankets tossed on it.
Where was everyone? Pushing myself to an upright position I wasn't hooked up to any machines I was still in the clothes I changed into before going to see my dad.
