“Hey, do you hate me?” The voice startled me as I woke up groggily and glanced at the clock. It was two at the night. My eyes were trying to adjust themselves to the lamp light and my head was a little clumsy.
I asked hoarsely “Roman, are you drunk,” and the response was giggle and then “No, I am not. I just wanna kill myself that’s all but I just don’t want you to hate me,”
My eyes snapped open as I held the phone in one hand and quickly wore my shoes quickly asking “I don’t hate you. Just tell me where you are and I’ll come to pick you up,”
