I spent that night with Paolo. We drove to his condo after driving my family home. I packed enough clothes to last for the week.
As soon as we got to his apartment, we headed to bed and made love. Afterwards, we talked about our engagement. I was surprised to know that my parents knew that Paolo was going to propose to me tonight. He said that he had a heart to heart talk with my dad which he said scared him a bit. He didn’t want to say what my dad said specifically but I did not have any doubt that he’s telling the truth.
I was surprised that my parents, particularly my dad, agreed to let Paolo propose to me. I wonder what he would do if didn’t agree?
