Since Christmas was just around the corner, and there was just so much to deal with, we didn’t go on holiday to celebrate the fact that we were now officially mated in the eyes of everyone. We spent the night in each other’s arms and it was the second most wonderful night of my life after our first night together. Not that it wasn’t always special when I was with Ridley, but when I thought of how I had pushed him away before I found out that we were mates, I had to continue to pinch myself to remind myself that all of this had actually happened. I was the Luna of our pack. The alpha female that everyone would look to next to Ridley, of course.
