Chapter Nineteen: First Time
"Draven? Scarlett?" A breathless voice came up from behind us and we broke apart, turning to come face-to-face with an approaching Quintin and Elliot, both of whom looked like they've been to hell and back. Their wet hair dripped with sweat, running down their glistening faces and falling onto their shirtless, shiny chests. What baffled me was how much they were panting. I've never seen a werewolf so worn out. Since they're one of the most agile species in the world, it's near impossible for them to break a sweat and become so out of breath. "What're you doing out here so early? It's, like, five in the morning, isn't it?" Quintin breathed, wiping the sweat from his brow before placing his hands on his sides.
