Napapikit ako nang humampas sa akin ang sariwang hangin ng isla. I can taste the briny scent of the tropical breeze. Huminga ako nang malalim at nagmulat ng mata. I roamed my eyes around the private island I bought three years ago with my own money. And I couldn’t be more proud of myself after seeing it turn into such a wonderful resort.
‘La Vierge’—that’s the name of my resort. A French name that means virgín since this island hasn’t been touched by anyone but me. I also came up with the name based on its characteristics—white sand, crystal clear water, and undeveloped. I made sure to minimize the number of trees to cut while building the infrastructures to keep its natural look. I also planted more trees and plants around to make it look more tro
