“Sounds like everything is going smoothly over there,” I said as I listened to Alexander and Anderson’s report.
“Yeah, everything’s been great. Since the whole Mike situation, we’ve weeded out a couple of abusers, and made prime examples of them. Unfortunately, even if we punish these bastards, they’ll go right back to it, and worse, take it out on their mates and pups,” Alexander explained.
“We don’t want to give them that chance. Does it hurt their mates to be separated? Yes, but it’s for the best, and they’ve been in counseling. Barbra and John have conducted history assessments with the families, and in the end it will come down to rejection. I know you’re against that, but I’m certain you’d give your blessing here,” Anderson added.
