The thought of Leon's child was growing inside of me gave me joy, Leon would be so happy to know we were going to have a baby, but he was far from me. He was not safe.
Today was yet another day, I had tried to find more reasons and lies to convince Aunt Thea and Sheila to let me go to Winslow but all my plans have proven abortive.
I had even showed them the letter Maia had brought from Phoebe but they felt it was not in my place to do anything. Phoebe had not only apologized, she had also said Galena's mission and how she thought it possible to defeat her.
He is my husband for crying out loud. I was not going to wait around till Galena finishes him off before I get there I was not a coward. Galena was not going to give up until she brought Leon and Winslow to it's ruin.
