“The coward arrives,” Conall sneered seconds after Ulric appeared in the entryway of the Wilson place. By Ulric’s side was a second shifter, also in his wolf form.
As Ulric spun to face Conall, who was in his human form for the moment, Deke called out from the dining room, “And a second one, who didn’t have the guts to kill the Sullivan family in person, but relied on the lily-livered action of a fire bomb to do the job.” He stepped forward. “Well, I’m presuming you’re the one, since my friend ordered you to show up as well.”
