Chapter 11After they caught their breath, Jenna and Davis plucked three flowers from the statue. Davis helped Jenna put them in her hair. Then, they walked back towards the city centre, so Davis could trade his signs for more batteries.
“Will you sell your keys?” she asked.
“No,” he said. “I will let the next scavenger find that world.”
She nodded. After she changed back into her new outfit, she went through her purse for items she could add to his trading boon.
