“Alpha Seth, sorry for taking you away from your mate.” Alpha Adrien cautiously spoke.
I had just left my Sadie in a bed, alone, in a house with several unmated warriors for protection because this dumb mother fucker wanted me to check out a security breach on his own damn land. Does he not have the balls to face whatever threat poses to the pack that is supposed to protect the portal to the other realm?
Apparently, he doesn’t.
Growling, I spoke, “This had better be f*****g good.” My claws and teeth elongated. They know not to mess with me. My patience is thin, and I’ve waited a century for my mate, and to be abruptly taken away does not sit well with Caspian. We were going to get blood.
