The past few days had been torture taking care of my mate. Caspian had been pacing day and night to mark her as ours, but her body was still weak from the magic that was still trying to leave her body. Caspian didn’t give a s**t anymore. He was ready, more than ready. Sometimes I thought he would come out and mark her on his own, which would have been hell to pay.
Sadie just had gotten done telling off one of our pack members that were basically bowing at our feet for help. I was going to let him suffer. He made my mate, and I suffer being apart from each other longer than it should have been. Hell, he about made me miss finding my mate. I didn’t care if his mate rejected him. Diana might have some sense after all.
