It had been days since I had ignored Culture. That probably was the need of the hour. I had to ignore her so that my plan of confusing Daniel would be fruitful. But I burned and tore my heart into pieces every time I forced my eyes away from her, in the process. With time, she looked different. Sad and Melancholic.
"Was Daniel really doing that to her? Was he successful in tormenting her in that short while? Was he trying to bring me down to my knees by making her a means to his end? Wasn’t my fake relationship believable?" Her sadness forced me to think about several things.
