I thought all along our way back home. The city was lit by multi-million street lights adorning the highway in vibrant colors: blue, red, yellow and silver. It was in a way, looking like a newly-wedded bride, beautiful and full of hope or a milky way where zillions of stars glitter, lightening the entire universe. In short, there was light in both situations, to win against the persisting darkness. However, was there any in my case? I knew that Culture was angry with me. Maybe she disliked me. And on top of that, I had taken her forcibly from her supposed date night! She must hate me and she might not even listen to what I had to say about Daniel. That thought bothered me.
