"I forgive you and forgiving you means that we will never bring this up ever again. Not in our future fights or even think about it. You won’t feel guilty or the need to make up to me for anything and I will not feel the need to punish you for this ever in the future. Okay? We have had enough of both of those already, I feel.." It seems I cannot stop talking for now.
“What’s done is done. We can’t change the past and I guess we have had enough problems in our conjugal life for a lifetime already...” I add as an after-thought when he is all quiet just looking at me. What is he looking at? Say something!? He is making me feel all weird. What on earth is he thinking now?
“Umm...why are you looking at me like that ...?” I ask feeling mighty self- conscious suddenly.
