Hannah's POV
The Winter Gala was approaching. It was supposed to take place a week or so before Christmas. I could tell everyone was on edge, including Joseph. Something was going to happen soon. Sometimes, he'd come in to my room, dragging me into his and holding me close as he slept at night. Other nights, he wouldn't stumble in until past midnight and fall down beside me in bed. When I'd wake up in the morning, the first thing I'd see was his handsome face. It was...nice and turned me on. Twice, I'd been close to kissing those luscious lips of his while he slept beside me.
