Anaira’s P.O.V.
I was standing in front of Carter’s Mansion. Home…… our home…. My home… Tears were flowing down like a fall from my eyes. I had dreamt so many times to be here in the last 6 years. I missed the comfort of home so badly. I was glued to my place outside the car. I was scared. I was scared that if it was a dream, it would end if I took a step ahead.
“Come on, love. Let’s go inside”, Alex whispered into my ears. I hummed but scared to take the first step towards the safest place for me.
He grabbed my hand from one side and Tina grabbed my hand from another side. I gripped their hands tightly. My heart was best fast right now. I was overwhelmed. “Mommy…. Let’s go home”, Tina asked me in her innocent voice and I broke down.
“Yeah… honey… let’s go home”, I said
