“Are you sure about this?”
My body was numb, as I pulled my eyes open my vision was blurred. The voices like sirens in my head, I was in the back seat draped with a blanket. As I pulled myself up, I grabbed my side in pain and when I looked down, I saw the bruised skin, I was no longer healing. Now I was mortal as can be, I had nothing now and I was defenseless against Mena. Any small movements sent pain waves through my body; I could feel life leaving me every second. I wanted it to be over, I don’t know how much longer I can last in this state. What I knew now scared me even more, I was vulnerable now.
