Maria’s POV:
The doctors discharged me a few hours later James left. Amber and Ms. Smith were with me the whole time. With them only I went back to the school. When I went back, I was informed that James wasn’t in and he was gone somewhere for something important. Also, his father came and went away. I was yearning to talk to James, I don’t know why, my heart felt really weak like something was happening or going to happen.
Amber dropped me to my room and then questioned me about how I got the cut because there was no blood in my room. James and I made up a story that I fell down from the bed and something sharp cut my arm.
